Day 3: 5/25/12
I remember! My strapped heels got broken. I hurried to come back home to change otherwise I won’t make it to the office today. Aww, speaking of fashionably late.

So above is my ticket pass to Philippine’s Fashion Week Holiday 2012. Honestly I had no plans of attending this season. I don’t know? Maybe I just want myself to focus more on what I’m working at the office. I didn’t even mind to email my Fashion Design teachers in FIP and SoFA or whoever. Haha. Anyway I’m seeing Oxygen Fashion show tonight. The tix was given by my boss earlier, unfortunately, Rox won’t make it to come, but it’s okay, Liz is coming. :)

Visual Merchandising I
Week 1
Day 2: 5/22/12
It’s a bright sunshiiiyne! Today I had my first Visual Merchandising Display with Rox, in one of Chocolate’ Clothing branches at Trinoma. I also got to meet Liz, my another co-internee, who by the way a Graphic Design student in DLS-CSB.
Rox and I failed to arrive on time. We passed by to the comfort room to re-touched ourselves before we head to the store. We looked haggard lang talaga, and it’s a bit upsetting cos I perspire easily. :s :|
So, Visual Merchandising Display or Design, is basically, the activity and the Art of developing three-dimensional displays to motivate and to attract the customers to purchase the product, and by this order, it will help the company maximize its sales. We moved clothes from racks to racks, we changed the mannequins, we folded and hung clothes and re-arranged accessories, foot wears and other bling-bling displays. Hey, I enjoyed doing this despite the heat had brought and all that long walks. :p

It’s lunch and we’re starving so we bothered to eat at Taco bell. Suddenly, we were paid attention by a roving stylist, Jeff Galang with his photographer. Style Origins under Ayala Mall management, has a project about spotting stylish people around the mall and whoever gets the highest re-pins on Pinterest will win up to 15-25k, cash prize and stuffs. (Correct me if I’m wrong, I won’t mind). So there I am, haggardly spotted. Haha :p #StyleStarPicks

Clothing Description
Week 1
Day1: (5/21/12)
Today I’ve finally met one of my co-internee, Rox. She also studied in SoFA and took up Fashion marketing class. :) Ms. Rumples, our marketing head, emailed us pictures of some new Chocolate Clothing items. We described photos from its physical look, what fabric is used for a certain type of dress and there we need the description to be more catchy and more appealing so that our target market will buy our goods. I also learned that I should bring my laptop with me, cos sooner I’m gonna be doing stuffs like digital merchandising.
